Chef Varun Inamdar has been lauded as one of the most successful chocolatiers of this generation, apart from his exemplary skills as a chef. By fans, media and followers across the globe, he is referred to as 'The Prince of Chocolates'

As a child, he has had the fortune of being blessed by Mother Teresa who also loved chocolates a lot. In a chance meeting with Mother, at Missionaries Charity, Bombay, he rushed through the crowds to have a close look and gift a piece of chocolate candy.

To his amusement, she accepted the chocolate and said, "This chocolate, my child, shall change your destiny one day." It is that one resonating statement that has been the guiding force in his career

As a chocolatier, today, he is the Brand Ambassador of Ecuadorian cocoa in India and represents India at world forums and seminars. He has been credited to have created India's first-of-its-kind and 6 feet tall; life size Edible Chocolate Mannequin.

This was placed at an air-conditioned venue on public display in Mumbai for 3 days with footfalls of 150000 every day. Read more about it in the image herewith.

Later, he created a one-of-its-kind Chocolate Ganesha on a popular food channel on national television starting a chocolate idol trend in the country of sorts.

This aired episode is available on satellite in India through Tata Sky, Videocon, Airtel and other major cable networks and Multiple system operators across India, US, Canada, UAE, Qatar and Mauritius.

It was later, also covered by Brussels Airways which affirmed his position as 'The Prince of Cocoa'.

In fact, Chef Varun Inamdar is the only chef to be featured in an inflight infotainment magazine (b.inspired) to announce the launch of the Belgium - Bombay direct flight. This indeed is a matter of immense pride as it reinstates his position as a chocolatier in the country.

Chef Varun Inamdar has been featured as a mentor/ guest chef for the Top 9 contestants in a chocolate special episode of Master Chef India aired on Star Plus channel which is part of 21st Century Fox's Star India network, distributed worldwide by Fox Networks Group, subsidiary of 21st Century Fox.

Chef created a storyboard of Indian flavours while making a simple yet gorgeous Chocolate and Gold leaf Truffle cake in a Chocolate Cage.
